Welcome to the Van Buren Public Library
The Van Buren Public Library serves the residents of Van Buren Township. Local residents have been enjoying the library’s resources since 1919. The Van Buren Public Library was established with a donation from the Carnegie Foundation. We are still operating in the original Carnegie building.
Our mission is to serve the residents of Van Buren Township by meeting the educational, informational, and recreational interests and needs of all residents, in cooperation with other libraries and community partners.
The library is now open!
Here’s how it works:
A limit of 6 people in the building at one time.
Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Public computers are available for use by appointment only and can be used for 30 minutes at a time.
If you still do not feel comfortable coming into the library, we are still offering curbside service for your convenience.
Questions? Give us a call at 765-934-2171.
Summer Reading Program has officially begun!
All ages are welcome to participate. Stop by the library and pick up a challenge sheet today. Once you have completed your challenge sheet, return it to the library to collect your prizes and be entered into our raffle drawing.
