Welcome to the Van Buren Public Library
The Van Buren Public Library serves the residents of Van Buren Township. Local residents have been enjoying the library’s resources since 1919. The Van Buren Public Library was established with a donation from the Carnegie Foundation. We are still operating in the original Carnegie building.
Our mission is to serve the residents of Van Buren Township by meeting the educational, informational, and recreational interests and needs of all residents, in cooperation with other libraries and community partners.
Fine Forgiveness Week is March 13 through March 18
Join us the week of March 13, 2017 as we start our Fine Forgiveness week. This means that if you have forgotten to return any items that have been checked out from our library, then you can bring them back during this week and we will forgive all of the fines listed on your account. Even if the fines were from years ago! So don’t miss this opportunity! Stop by the library to return your lost or overdue items and we will take care of the fines. If you do not have any items checked out or marked as lost, but have fines on your account then those will be forgiven as well. Just stop by and we will take a look at your account.
Get reunited with the Van Buren Public Library this year!
