Welcome to the Van Buren Public Library

The Van Buren Public Library serves the residents of Van Buren Township.  Local residents have been enjoying the library’s resources since 1919.  The Van Buren Public Library was established with a donation from the Carnegie Foundation.  We are still operating in the original Carnegie building.

October 11 – Adult Book Club!                                   owl

This month’s book is Murder on the Bucketlist by Elizabeth Perona (Comedy Crime)

The women of the Summer Ridge Bridge Club have gathered in secret late one night to check skinny-dipping off their bucket list. But as Francine observes, the jittery members seem more obsessed with body issues and elaborate preparations than actually stripping down and getting in the pool. A pungent smell emanating from the pool shed provides a perfect distraction. When a dead body flops out, it’s an answered prayer for Charlotte, since the first item on her list is to solve a murder.

So stop in and pick up your copy of the book today and join us October 11 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. as we discuss what we loved or hated about this month’s book!

Just a reminder that we have E-Books!  Stop by the library for full details.  To get started visit the eIndiana Digital ConsortiumClick here for an instruction sheet.
